| Worm Smackers
Worm Smackers are delightful, small animals that live almost everwhere in Chaladon where earthworms live in the soil, which is important because Smackers won't eat anything but a worm.
Naturally, worms don't WANT to be eaten so it is hard to pull them out of the ground. Since boy Smackers are stronger, they sneak up on a worm that is going down his hole and grab him by the tail.
After he pulls the worm out of the ground, the little Smacker then whacks the poor worm on the ground just like grandma whacking a cockroach with her broom.
The brave little Smacker then offers one end of the worm to a pretty girl Worm Smacker.
As they eat the delicious worm from both ends, smacking their lips all the while, they stare into each others eyes and try to decide whether they love each other. If they both decide by the time the worm is eaten, they start kissing and this is how Worm Smackers get married. Of course, if the girl decides she doesn't like the boy, she runs away at the last minute, leaving him with a piece of worm sticking out of his mouth and a foolish look on his face. | ||||||
