Bungalo
Bungalos are found in large herds roaming the grassy plains of Chaladon.
Clearly, this creature evolved to make grazing on short grass easier for the animal. The head is hugh and very heavy while the rear portion of the body is much smaller and lighter. When the animal wants to munch some grass, it simply leans forward, so just like a teeter-totter, the head goes down and the butt goes up. No strain whatsoever is placed on the neck muscles and this saves much precious energy
Unfortunately, what made them great eaters, also made them comical runners. Bungalos walk just fine, but when they become freightened, they run like giant chickens, hysterically stomping off across the prairie on their powerful front legs, their tiny little back legs pumping nothing but air.
Besides being comical runners, they are simply terrible at stopping. - - - Thus, the modern day saying -
"As graceful as a Bungalo." |
